The Brief

Examining and treating a cow’s teeth means safely holding its mouth open, a job that calls for a robust, purpose-built tool for use on dairy farms.

Our Solution

Over six months we took the device from concept to pilot. Designs were 3D printed and tested on anatomical skull models, then the final version was machined in-house from 304 stainless steel.

The Impact

A pilot-ready device at TRL 6, used in a University of Glasgow funded animal trial / pilot study.
